Straightforward answers.
Open the Forelyn app to create stores, save product records, and prepare price plans in your private cloud workspace. Create a Forelyn account with your email and password, then sign in with the same account on your phone, tablet, or computer. You can add the app to your home screen. Internet access is required. A live register connection is a separate setup step; a supported cloud interface or approved store gateway may remove the need for a back-office PC.
Forelyn brings together a private cloud workspace and an interactive product preview. The app saves your store setup, manually entered product records, and price plans. The examples on this page use sample data to explore a broader vision for apparel, general retail, convenience stores, and optional fuel tools. No live register integration is configured yet.
Yes. Choose a store type, then explore the overview, inventory, price book, and insights. Apparel includes separate sample SKUs for size and color variants. Filter locations, edit demo prices, review margins and affected stores, and inspect a local change history. Changes stay in this browser session and reset on reload; no real stores or registers are connected.
The concept includes an individual-store view and a shared overview across four sample locations. That demonstrates the experience we want to build for larger networks. A production rollout would still need connections to the retailer’s systems, team permissions, reliable inventory and pricing workflows, and testing for its actual scale.
Yes—the preview starts in general retail mode with fuel tools hidden. Apparel, specialty, and convenience stores can explore pricing, inventory, sales, and insights without gas pumps. Choose “Convenience store + fuel” only when you want to see the optional tank and fuel examples.
You can edit sample prices, review changes by store, and save them in this browser session. Verifone Topaz is the planned integration target for the convenience-store example. Live updates still require identifying the controller and software version, configuring the appropriate interface, and testing the connection. Other retailers would need connections for their own POS systems. This preview sends nothing to a register; its CSV export is for review, not a POS import file.
The Forelyn app includes 34 named setup profiles across convenience and fuel, retail and apparel, grocery, enterprise retail, and foodservice. Choices include Verifone Topaz and Ruby systems, Passport, Square, Clover, Shopify POS, Lightspeed, NCR Voyix, Oracle, and more. You can also record a standalone register or a custom POS with its exact model and software version. Selecting a profile saves your setup details; it does not activate a live connection or certify compatibility. Automatic register updates still require an authorized, tested integration.
You’ll get a personalized walkthrough brief that you can download. This preview does not submit your details to a sales team or schedule a meeting. Your entries stay in your current browser session.
